Comfort & Power

Heating, A/C, and Electrical Repair in Andale, KS

Kansas doesn't do mild. Neither should your A/C.

Around here you get 100 degree Julys and single digit Januarys, sometimes in the same six month stretch. A/C that can't keep up in August and heat that won't come on in January aren't small problems, they're the difference between a comfortable drive and a miserable one. Same goes for the electrical side, where a battery that's fine in October has a way of quitting on the first genuinely cold morning.

Seasonal Timing

The Best Time to Fix Your A/C Is Before You Need It

Every shop in Kansas sees the same pattern. The first genuinely hot week of summer arrives and the phone doesn't stop, because everybody discovered their A/C died sometime over the winter and nobody checked. Same thing in reverse when the first hard freeze hits and half the county finds out their battery was on borrowed time.

You don't have to play it that way. A/C is worth checking in spring, before you need it. Batteries and heating are worth checking in fall. Both take very little time, and it's a lot easier to schedule a repair on a week you choose than on the hottest or coldest day of the year with everyone else calling at once.

Questions

Heating, Cooling & Electrical FAQs

Often it's low refrigerant, which usually means there's a leak somewhere since refrigerant doesn't get used up. Could also be a failing compressor or a blend door issue. Worth diagnosing rather than just topping it off.
